Laetitia Laigre
Graduate assistant - doctoral fellow
At IGD until 2015

Laetitia is PhD student and assistant at the Institute of geography and sustainability since august 2009.

After a master degree in sciences obtained at the University of Paris 1 - Pantheon-Sorbone (France), specialised in the studies of the environmental dynamics and risks (Master EDMR), she decided to oriented her competences in the study of the fluvial dynamics in alpine environments.

She started her PhD researches in august 2009, with two objectives: (1) to reconstruct the fluvial dynamics of the Rhône River during the Holocene upstream from Lake Geneva and (2) to identify and define the possible causes (anthropogenic and/or climatic forcing) of the morphodynamical changes identified.

These researches are carried out through a collaboration between University of Lausanne and University of Paris Denis-Diderot (Paris 7 - France), and are supervised both by Prof. Emmanuel Reynard and Prof. Gilles Arnaud-Fassetta.
