Emmanuel Reynard

Emmanuel Reynard is full professor of physical geography at the University of Lausanne since September 2005. He was director of the Institute of Geography (IGUL) from 2008 to 2012, then of the Institute of Geography and Sustainability (IGD) from 2012 to 2016. He is director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mountain Research (CIRM) since 2018.
He was Chair of the Geomorphosites Working Group of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG) from 2001 to 2013 and a member of the IAG Executive Committee from 2013 to 2022. Emmanuel Reynard was president of the Geotopes Working Group (Scnat) from 2006 to 2017 and is president of the Association Mémoires du Rhône since 2011.
